The partners envision NEWCO as THE resource for people to discover, explore, learn about and find new “media products”. It’s a free to consumer site supported by advertising and e-commerce.<br /></div> <div>NEWCO is a super-early stage startup that needs UI direction. Think recommendation engine meets database with a focus on finding new “media products”. You will drive the look, feel, and flow of the application from start to finish, working hand in hand with the Senior Product Manager and the CTO.<br /></div> <div>We expect you to build quickly, fail often, and take risks.<br /></div> <div>Our team embraces lean startup methodology and data driven design. We also practice tons of customer development. Insert other startup buzzwords here.<br /></div> <div>We’re looking for a UX Designer with demonstrable experience developing high-performance dynamic user interfaces for consumer-facing web sites.&nbsp; <br /></div> <div>Requirements:<br /></div> <ul> <li>Create low-fi mockups</li> <li>Turn low-fi mockups into hi-fi sketches and prototypes very quickly</li> <li>Design and slice efficient, sprite-able CSS (we support the IE Death March)</li> <li>Understand AJAX, JQuery, and page flow</li> <li>Usability test customers, test designs, and iterate based on a combination of both.</li></ul> <ul> <li></li></ul> <div>This project is awesome.
