You can learn more about us at: <a href=\"http://GoodGuide.com\">http://GoodGuide.com</a></p>\n<p>We are looking for a Back-end Engineer to help us build out the GoodGuide technology infrastructure. Your mission will be to design, build and maintain tools to enable internal as well as external teams to interact with our data. You\u2019ll need to be able to map the complex world of product, company and rating data to our internal databases and schemas. You\u2019ll help build scalable processes and systems for publishing GoodGuide data to external consumers, such as GoodGuide.com, manufacturers and retailers.</p>\n<p>We\u2019re a small, agile development team who work closely together on end-to-end features. The technology stack we\u2019re using is Rails, Linux and MySQL.  We value <span class=\"caps\">TDD</span>, design/code reviews, pair programming and collaborative approach to development.</p>\n<p><span class=\"caps\">DUTIES</span><br />\n\u2022\tDesign, implement and test significant product features with speed, agility and precision<br />\n\u2022\tCollaborate with product management and other developers on key features<br />\n\u2022\tBe a great team member and help change the world</p>\n<p><span class=\"caps\">REQUIREMENTS</span><br />\n\u2022\tSmart, enthusiastic and driven<br />\n\u2022\tSelf motivated, you enjoy working in a small team with top notch developers<br />\n\u2022\t3-5 years of industry experience<br />\n\u2022\tSignificant experience building end to end applications<br />\n\u2022\tStrong and current <span class=\"caps\">SQL</span> skills. Affinity with Data Modeling.<br />\n\u2022\tStrong and current RoR skills<br />\n\u2022\tExperience with <span class=\"caps\">CSS</span>, JavaScript and Ajax<br />\n\u2022\tPassion for writing concise, clear and elegant code<br />\n\u2022\tExperience with Enterprise Integration<br />\n\u2022\tBA/MS CS preferred</p>\n<p>GoodGuide offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and equity.
